Just a stone’s throw from a long shingle beach on Cornwall’s Lizard Peninsula, Chydane offers luxury cliff-top accommodation and stunning sea views.

Inside

• Style: Traditional meets contemporary in this seaside abode decked out with tasteful designer fabrics, antique furniture and original works of art. 
• Bedrooms: With the sea air wafting in through the windows, you can’t help but get a good night’s sleep in the comfy two doubles. The main bedroom (Atlantic room) has French windows – claiming to offer some of the finest views of any room in Cornwall – whilst the second bedroom (Port Hole room) has a porthole peering out to sea. Both rooms have flat screen TVs and DVD players. 
• For relaxation: Open the French windows and enjoy ocean views from the main bedroom, or squirrel away with book and watch the sea from the summerhouse.
• For recreation: Do you need much more than the 3-mile beach, direct access to the South West Coast Path and stunning coastal scenery on the doorstep?

Outside

A large terrace and garden area overlooking the beach, offer breathtaking views to Mounts Bay, far west Cornwall and the Atlantic Ocean. There is garden furniture for enjoying the sun, as well as a summerhouse where you can chill out and enjoy the views.

• In-house cuisine: A full breakfast menu – ranging from full English to continental – uses lots of local Cornish ingredients. Evening meals are available (by prior arrangement) from £30 per person. 
• Eating out: The property is only 200 yards from the historic Halzephron Inn. Also on the Lizard is the Trelowarren’s New Yard Restaurant (which sources 90% of its ingredients from within a 10-mile radius. Nearby in the harbour town of Porthleven (20 minutes by car, about an hour along the coast path on foot) there is a range of highly acclaimed restaurants including Kota restaurant and the 18^th Century Ship Inn

 Getting there:

• On the map: Situated close to Helston and just 20 minutes from Porthleven, Chydane sits above Gunwalloe Fishing Cove at the western end of the Lizard Peninsula.
• By car: About 5 or 6 hours from London, 2 hours from Exeter.
• By train: The closest train station is Penzance (about 40mins away).
• By air: The nearest airport is Newquay (about an 1hr 20mins from the property).
