A truly relaxing abode idyllic for a romantic break, seaside family holiday or simply those looking for some time out
- Style: Built in 1810, the cottage still enjoys the traditional feel of a fisherman's abode but with the talented eye of the owner has been lovingly restored to combine the original charm and character with wonderful bespoke furniture and stylish design.
- Bedrooms: Two beautifully appointed bedrooms to choose from on the first floor. A king sized double leads through the ensuite and onto the sunny roof terrace with sea views, the second bedroom can either be a spacious twin or double. Sink under the sumptuous duvets with the sound of the sea beyond. A further single bedded room can be found just off the kitchen on the ground floor.
- Bathrooms: The king sized bedroom hosts a romantic ensuite bathroom with clawfoot bath looking out through the fresh white voile curtains to the sundeck. The front facing twin has a large rain shower ensuite. The single room is able to use the downstairs toilet.
- For relaxation: You cannot help but switch off and unwind at Admiral's Cottage be it to cosy up by the fireside with the selection of jazz in the cooler months or relax in the deep bath with views of the sunset.
- For recreation: Stroll from the cottage to the end of the quaint terrace where the pebbly seashore awaits just a few yards away with breathtaking views of the infamous white chalk cliffs.
- Practicalities: Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher. There is parking for one car just outside with further parking nearby.
Outside
An adorable sunny stone terrace leads from the kitchen and downstairs bedroom. Brimming with colour, pots overflow with brilliant white daisies and fragrant herbs, Olive trees are pickled with tiny white lights at night offering a really magical al fresco dining area. From the master bathroom upstairs spill onto the spacious south facing balcony to catch the evening sun. There is parking for one car just outside the cottage with further parking nearby.
Food and Wine
- DIY: Available on a self catered basis. This is a fun kitchen to get creative, the reclaimed 1950's gas cooker is a great feature. Fresh locally sourced produce can be found in abundance including Kent's infamous juicy oysters.
- In-house cuisine: Choose to have your fridge filled prior to your arrival (by arrangement) Dine outside under the stars without a street light in sight!
- Eating out: A tempting choice of local eateries include three pubs, one of which is the closest tavern to France! The Blue Bird Cafe perched high on the cliffs is worth the walk.

- By Train: 1.45 min fast train from Charing Cross, London into Walmer or Deal
