After a trip down the winding track, the road opens and hedges peter out to reveal some of the most stunning views of the Polurrian Cove imaginable.  Continue a little further, and up a small incline you will see Driftwood House standing proudly on the hillside, surrounded by bushes and numerous fruit trees, with plenty of colourful plants and flowers, Driftwood House really is an escape from it all - a true taste of Cornwall. 

Inside

• Style: Light wooden flooring and white walls are punctuated with fresh floral and striped fabric. Unique artwork and Cornish flair add to the stylish coastal appeal
• Bedrooms: Three spacious bedrooms: choose from two sunny doubles and a cosy single bedded room. The lovely boutique pink room offers a king sized bed with iron bedstead and Tempur mattress whilst a further king sized bedroom has outstanding coastal views. The single bedroom is idyllic for children or adults alike.
  
• Bathrooms: The sea view room has an ensuite shower room with toilet whilst the other two rooms share a contemporary family bathroom with bath and hand held shower.
• For relaxation: Pull up a chair on the terrace and enjoy afternoon tea  overlooking the sea after a days exploring or enjoy a Purity treatment at the nearby hotel.
• For recreation: Just moments from the coast, follow the winding path out and around the headland.   
• Practicalities: Hairdryers in all rooms.

Outside

A characterful garden complete with pretty pond, stone terrace and sloping lawn sheltered by attractive borders of pink daisies, miniature roses and white lilies. A lovely raised terrace offers a superb sea view vantage point, a great place to sit a while and relax in the sun!

Food and Wine

• DIY: Available on a bed and breakfast basis. Start the day with a hearty full English breakfast or choose from fresh mixed seasonal berries, yoghurt and homemade granola.
• In-house cuisine: Dine in style with first class cuisine, arranged in advance Susie can prepare gourmet fine dining at an additional charge of £35 for three courses (this will vary depending on menu choices). All ingredients are locally sourced including fresh fish from the nearby Helford River.
• Eating out: Explore the eateries around The Lizard, Mullion offers a choice from bistro dining to traditional pub grub.
